Forthcoming Grounds Maintenance - Nocton Hall - UPDATED 31.01.25
Further work will be undertaken as follows (words from LEDA): We need to apply for planning next to erect a new fence line (given conservation area) and then the intention is to properly fence, then removing the internal old fencing and then probably next Autum (post breeding bird season), clear inside the fence up to the Hall.
It is the intention of LEDA Property Ltd to start to manage the surrounding site more proactively. Over recent years this has been mostly reactive.
Week commencing 27th January 2025, contractors will start to implement the management plan for the site, this will include the removal of some areas of briars in certain parts of the hall grounds and the removal of certain areas of scrub / saplings where this is impacting on the TPO trees across the site.
Given the TPO’s and conservation area, these works will be undertaken by a contractor under the supervision of Lincolnshire Trees who have undertaken work on the site before.
