1. CHAIRMAN’S REPORT TO 13 October – 10 November 2020
i. The Clerk is on authorised absence until at least 12 November.
ii. Administrative difficulties in banking in the Clerk’s absence.
iii. New coronavirus regulations are now in force. Nocton Hub is closed to bookings except for exempt activities.
iv. SSL Licence has been received.
v. PPL/PRS is in progress.
vi. Television Licence – response awaited from Nocton Club t/a Ripon Arms. vii. Removal of streetlight 23 booked with Western Power for 17 November. viii. Streetlight 12 not working – E-On contacted.
ix. DCllr Byatt has advised that Nocton Beck is on NKDC’s list for attention, timescale unknown.
2. CORRESPONDENCE:
i. Request received for access to Nocton Hall grounds – situation explained and referred to owner.
ii. Govt Planning White Paper circulated to Cllrs for comment. iii. NKDC draft Tree Strategy circulated to Cllrs for comment.
iv. Request received for removal of personal information from Parish website – holding reply sent pending Clerk’s return.
3. TRAINING:

Cllr M Clarke Council Powers and Procedures 10 or 11 NOV 10-1 Councillors Training Day. 17 & 18 NOV
LALC will be holding Social Media Training in due course and it is recommended that all Cllrs and relevant staff attend this, as it is a key area for CoC complaints and sanctions.
